Seriously one of my favorite drinks! Cool, sweet, tangy, refreshing and super easy to make!

If you love Mojitos, you’ll need to try this recipe. While you can find mojitos anywhere in the world, this Cuban drink reminds me so much of the years I lived in Miami. Something about them takes me back!

I love making virgin mojitos or mojito mocktail because I don’t do alcohol (for many reasons). Also, in the summer I love making a huge mojito pitcher where kids and grown ups are welcome to refresh!

BLACKBERRY MOJITO

While Mojito classically is made out of just lime, mint, club soda and alcohol, the addition of blackberries is like the icing on the cake!

I love the tang that blackberries add which compliments the lime so perfectly. I also love the tiny bits of seeds which add texture to your drink.

However, I have a friend who dislikes that “texture” in her drink so I’ve tried this recipe with blueberries and it was just as delicious! So feel free to swap one for the other or use a combo!

Mojito Recipes

You’ll find plenty of mojitos recipes that use simple syrup. And for that reason probably, you’ll notice lots of bar tenders hate making mojitos. It feels like a lot of work!

I love making my mojito recipe without the simple syrup, and that’s another advantage of the virgin mojitos (more on that below). I make them in minutes and you’ll find step by step instructions and photos below.

VIRGIN MOJITO

A virgin Mojito is basically a mojito without any alcohol. So it’s safe to drink as much of it as your heart desires 🙂 But that’s not all what I love about it!

Why Virgin Mojito Recipe

  • You can drink as much of it as you need to quench your thirst!
  • If you’re entertaining and there’s anyone who can’t have alcohol, it’s a good idea to make a huge pitcher of virgin mojito and keep the alcohol on the side for those who want to add it on.
  • No simple syrup needed, because I sweeten my mojitos with ginger ale/lemon soda (diet or full sugar).
  • 5 minutes to prepare.
  • Super tasty–you won’t miss the alcohol.Blackberry Mojito - A Virgin Mojito Recipe (5)
